Eva van Rikxoort
Eva founded Thirona in 2014 and leads the company. She has a Ph.D. in medical image analysis from Utrecht University. She worked for the Imaging CRO MedQIA in Los Angeles where she developed automatic methods to assess fissural completeness from chest CT scans.
Guido is CEO of Thirona. He has over twenty years of experience in the medical imaging industry. He was director of Oldelft Benelux and Rogan, and is currently also CEO of Delft Imaging Systems. He is a serial developer of business concepts for low cost high quality healthcare in the digital age.
Bram van Ginneken
Bram is one of the founders of Thirona. He has worked in computer-aided diagnosis since 1996. Next to his work at Thirona, he leads the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen and works for Fraunhofer MEVIS in Bremen, Germany.
Rick is chief quality officer at Thirona and he leads the development of cloud solutions for processing and viewing medical images. Rick has an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
Jaime is Thirona’s machine learning and deep learning expert. He graduated in Electronics Engineering at the Antenor Orrego Private University, Peru. He has two PhDs, in computer vision and robotics and in medical image analysis.
Mark van Grinsven
Mark studied Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and obtained a Ph.D. from Radboud University in medical image analysis. At Thirona, he develops new products for cloud-based retinal image analysis.
Jean-Paul is leading the development of chest CT algorithms at Thirona. He studied Biophysics and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Utrecht and obtained a Ph.D. from the Radboud University in medical image analysis.
Annet has a M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the Radboud University Nijmegen. At Thirona Annet works as software engineer, mainly focussing on the development of cloud solutions for processing medical images.
Gerwin is responsible for the several lung quantification projects at Thirona. He graduated at Eindhoven University of Technology with a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering.
Iva is software engineer at Thirona and supports the development of chest algorithm. She graduated in Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where she also worked as a research fellow.
