Software Engineer/Scientific Programmer – fulltime

Job description

As our company is expanding rapidly we are searching, for a highly talented and motivated Software Engineer/ Scientific Programmer to support development processes of our team. Daily activities and responsibilities include implementation of algorithms, development of user interfaces, performing code reviews and making sure the code used within Thirona is of high quality.

Your profile

  • Highly skilled in C++ and Python
  • Strong object oriented programming and design skills
  • Proficient with Makefiles, bash, and other Unix development tools
  • Experience with cross-platform compilation of code
  • Experience with Visual Studio and git is a plus
  • Good organizational skills; the ability to work in a collaborative environment and a desire to improve skills are essential
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of software code
  • Development of new functionality using prescribed specifications as required
  • Coding and debugging applications in different software languages (C++, Python)
  • Evaluating and identifying new technologies for implementation
  • Implementation of tests in general testing frameworks
  • Maintaining standard compliance of software code

Quality Assurance officer – fulltime

Job description

As our company is expanding rapidly we are searching for a QA officer who will be responsible for

guiding and coaching quality checks within your team. You have an eye for optimizing processes and quality systems. In addition, applying for grants is an important part of this function as is the role of Privacy Officer.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards, ISO 13485 and CE certification
  • Excellent verbal and written Dutch and English communication skills
  • Relevant working experience, preferably in ICT / Medical environment, is a plus
  • Computer Skills (MS-Office)
  • You are accurate, analytical, flexible
  • You are able to work in a team as well as independently

Responsibilities

  • Keep abreast of applicable laws and regulations
  • Monitoring QA policies
  • Organizing and executing internal audits
  • Coordinating and guiding certification audits
  • Handling of internal and external complaints
  • Drafting of quality management reports
  • Initiate and participate in improvement pathways
  • Entering, registering and forwarding data to the subsidy provider
  • Monitor the overview of the various administrative (subsidy) files and provide interim reports

As our company is expanding rapidly we are searching, for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for projects and sales related activities such as; acquisition, sales quota, forecasting and target performance regarding our products, services and solutions.

In this role you develop and maintain close contact with prospects, clients and distributors. You negotiate agreements with new and existing clients and manage the client’s needs. Therefore you are willing to learn all about our solutions, e.g. the automatic analysis software and the techniques behind it.

Your profile

  • College or university degree, ideally in one of the following fields: commercial, biomedical or medical imaging
  • Commercially driven, customer oriented, creative and innovative

Your profile

  • Scripting skills and passion to automate software tasks
  • Proficient in Python
  • Experience with Unix utilities, configuration and administration
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and computing, preferably AWS
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field, or
  • equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Relevant working experience is a plus

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage development and deployment tools and systems
  • Maintain inter-connectivity of tools
  • Ensure 24×7 availability of deployment tools and systems
  • Custom development: enhancements to tools, and surrounding ecosystem
  • Oversee and ensure production readiness of new technologies/systems
  • Research new technologies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and stability
  • Maintain documentation on processes and procedures
  • Occasional travel
