As Marketing & Communications Specialist, (within marketing team based in Nijmegen, you will be co-accountable for the implementation of Thirona’s brand and marketing strategy for our service portfolio, worldwide. In your role, you will be responsible for coordination of marketing programs and activities, across all relevant communications channels, in line with the marketing plan. You will report to marketing manager and work closely together with the content marketing specialist, product management, business development team and external agencies.
In this role your key responsibilities will be:
- Execution of cross-media marketing communications plan, in collaboration with the marketing team
- Project management of Thirona’s participation in conferences and industry events
- Contacts with media
- Contribution to the content strategy and plan
- Collaboration on content development and campaign effectiveness optimization
- Aliasing with external event and marketing services suppliers
Job requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing within technology-driven industries (e.g., high-tech, software, AI), ideally within the medical technology sector.
- Hands-on expertise in managing social media channels and running campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of content marketing strategies and analyzing performance metrics
- Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, and HubSpot
- Understanding of the B2B media environment (experience in PR is a plus)
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Solid project management abilities and keen attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Enthusiastic, driven, curious, and enjoyable to collaborate with.

Practical information:
- Thirona counts +/-50 employees with international backgrounds
- Office location: Nijmegen
- The candidate must be either living in the Netherlands or willing to move to the Netherlands
- 32-40 hours work week – hybrid working is allowed for 60% of your time
- Part-time can be considered
- Principal residence within 1 hour travel distance from the office is required
- 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour contract, and 8% holiday allowance
- 8% pension allowance with a flexible pension plan
- EU passport or work permit in EU is required for this job position
