About the role
Our product management team plans and executes the releases of Thirona’s AI-assisted medical image analysis products. - Own, define and maintain the software release roadmap.
- Prioritize requirements for each release, with input from the Head of Product and the CIO, to ensure releases align with market needs.
- Help teams meet their commitments on scope and timelines.
- Own the technical file, in close collaboration with QA/RA, to obtain timely regulatory certification, most notably under the EU MDR and from the US FDA.
- Own the product-related quality management system (QMS) processes and help update them, for example when standards or regulations change.
- Coordinate risk management and post-market surveillance activities for the software product.
What you bring
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or medical field (e.g. biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in medical device development under the EU MDR and/or US FDA regulations.
- Experience with product development in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
- A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and medical image analysis.
Your competences
- Strong organizational and project management skills, from planning through execution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; you can explain the impact of changes to every stakeholder.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, as required in a regulated quality environment.
