On 16 September 2019 the Thira Lab was openend at the Radboud UMC. In this collaboration between Thirona, Delft Imaging System and the Radboud UMC, research is being done which will be applied in modern day solutions. In this way research can be applied to be used on the market and to make the patient better.

For this purpose, 6 PhD candidates and 3 post-docs will work on AI research for medical imaging with a focus on CT scans of the lungs, and Xrays of the retina and chest.
