Thirona Junior Operations Engineer vacancy

We are looking for a Associate Business Developer who works collaboratively with colleagues in the business development team to manage daily sales operations, ensure a smooth sales process for our customers, and develop new business opportunities.

As an Associate Business Developer, you are commercially focused and results-driven, with a can-do mentality. You will be an integral part of our business development team, contributing to the smooth functioning of operations and providing support in various aspects of relationship management and business development efforts. Furthermore, you will closely collaborate with different departments, such as finance, marketing, and product development.

In this role you will

  • Support the business development team with daily operations
  • Assist with sales leads: e.g. prepare quotations and contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales material and presentations
  • Close deals, manage contracts and follow up on order processing
  • Maintain a database of current and potential customer contact information, leads and interactions in the CRM system
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, distributors and prospects
  • Identify new leads and turn them into business opportunities
  • Attend congresses, summits and other promotional activities globally

Your profile

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical field or business
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field of (international) sales and business
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Affinity with biomedicine or medical imaging is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Thirona counts +/-50 employees with international backgrounds
  • Office location: Nijmegen
  • 40 hours workweek – hybrid working is allowed
  • Principal residence within 1 hour travel distance from Nijmegen
  • Part-time can be considered
  • EU passport or work permit in EU is required for this job position
  • 27 vacation days based on a 40-hour contract, and 8% holiday allowance
  • 8% pension allowance with a flexible pension plan
